B. Baker

Hi, my name is Ben Baker and I love teaching here at Chamberlain School and ATL I teach all of the high school Science and Math courses as well as a variety of options including Phys. Ed. and Drama.

I am passionate about life and the subjects I teach.  As a curious person my favourite subject is Science, and the discovery that is inseperable from its study.  I love the wonders of Math, reason, and logic and truly enjoy the challenge its problems present.  This is the reason why my primary hobby outside of teaching is learning and playing boardgames.  I love the creativity that can be expressed with the English language.  Whether it is creating a world and the characters that inhabit it in story form, or better expressing one's thoughts with the use of new words.  I am so blessed to have a job that I can truly enjoy.

As for me outside of school, I am married to my beautiful wife, LaNae. We have had the priveledge to have 4 children over 2 years, which keeps us busy, but gives us the wonderful opportunity to stay young and messy. Our oldest twin girls are 3 years old and learning to be excellent older sisters to their brothers ages 2 and 1.  I love the outdoors - namely hiking, biking, and running - and as I have said, I will always try to sneak in a board game into any event.
